I am BEYOND IMPRESSED after my first experience with Prenger's. I had a broken (in half) silver piece repaired and an uncommon/tactful alteration done to my wedding ring. The work done on both pieces was absolutely superb and far exceeded my expectations! Not only were the repairs/alterations TOP NOTCH, but the cost was extremely reasonable. Even a better bargain given that both pieces were cleaned, polished and my ring got a fresh coat of Rhodium plating, which was all included at no additional cost. I was quoted a week but my items were done in 2 DAYS! Prenger's has earned a lifetime customer after such a fantastic experience and I'll never bother going to another jeweler if I can help it. Muskegon is very lucky to have a place like Prenger's!

I had to have my ring cut to get it off before surgery. The result was a mangled mess. Prenger's repair estimate was 1/3 the estimate of other places. Their quoted price included repair of one obvious crack, repair of the cut, and resizing. When I picked it up the next day, I found out that they found other cracks, but they repaired them at no additional charge. I highly recommend Prenger's. BTW, I noticed there are two one-star ratings here that appear to be by two different people that were only five days apart. The wording on both complaints is VERY similar. VERY suspicious. I suspect these are from a competitor just bad-mouthing Prenger's.

They've always been so friendly and done wonderful job fixing and cleaning my jewellery for me :)

If you are in the area, this is the place to shop! They have a selection of new and consignment jewelry that is very affordable. The staff is very friendly. Bob and Dan are experts with repairs. I never go anywhere else. Highly recommend them!

WARNING!!! Never take a stone in to have it appraaised at Prenger's. They'll walk into the backroom and come back with a different stone and you'll never see the original piece again. They count on people not being able to identify what they brought in and I was stupid enough to let them walk away with a $10,000.00 diamond.
