HORRIBLE work! About 5 yrs. ago Hummer bros. did a epoxy shell on our back porch stoop at the cost of $300. The job they did was appalling! It looked like a 3 yr. old did it. The corners were not squared off and clumps of the product were left on them. They got material on our siding, it was uneven and the next day cracks were showing up. This epoxy shell was supposed to last 10 years....it looked awful immediately after they did it! Not only was their work horrible but they were very unprofessional by pouring their leftover scrap material on our lawn. I had to use a sledge hammer to remove it. Now 5 years later, it is starting to fall off in sheets! I called them right after they did it and they never bothered to return my call. Extremely bad business operators!! Beware!!!!

Eric Hummer accepted a job doing some simple landscaping and repair of our porch stoop. He said he'd use some epoxy for the repair of the stoop & that would be like a shell and it would be good for about 10 years. It took more time than I expected for him to finally come and do the job. I had to call him repeatedly to find out if and when he was coming over to start. Left phone messages that he maybe responded to days later or not at all prompting me to call again. POOR customer contact! I called him after his sad excuse of a repair on our stoop and left a message letting him know I was extremely disappointed in the finished job. He called me back after my second call to him and he said he would be out the next day. Ten days later and he never showed up or called. As you can see, photos speak volumes. The photo's show cracks, the corners were just sloppily rounded off with excess product chunked on. There's parts of the steps where you could see the original stoop due to the fact it wasn't even covered. Left work area messy and also got stuff on our sidding that I am still trying to get off. I was cutting the grass the other day and came across a patch about the size of a dinner plate where he threw his excess concrete on my lawn. WHATEVER YOU DO....DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT HAVE ERIC HUMMER DO ANY KIND OF CONCRETE WORK FOR YOU. If he screwed up our porch stoop, imagine what he would do with a driveway or patio! I called and left a message and told him the right thing to do would be to give us back the $300 he charged us for the repair of the porch or I should say the horrible repair of the porch!
