Wrecked my chain

They have a habit of grinding the rakers on your chain saw chain. I took in 3 (at different times) for their first sharpening. They ground down the rakers on all 3 chains. The powerhead, an MS 441 would have the chain stall, without any chain feed pressure. The motor's RPM's would surge from the uncontrollable rate of feed. I told the store attendant about this, but deaf ears prevailed. No response from him. The first 2 chains worked in an usable satisfactory cutting process, but the rakers didn't need cut down on the first sharpen job. They will probably get better with successive sharpenings.



These chains are $35.00 a piece, so I now have a $35.00 piece of junk.



Not much of a need to return to their store.
