Crystal is WONDERFUL. I take my persian there to get groomed and se does an excellent job! I wouldn't take her anywhere else and plan on taking my kitten there as well. Reasonable prices and Lola looks amazing and happy (for the most part) LOL. Crystal is really great at what she does!

I love this place! The staff takes excellent care of the pets. I have boarded my dogs and cats here, and so have my friends. The pets are always happy to come in. I have also used the grooming services as well as the vet, and both are great! The little retail store has good prices and selection. Any time I have a question or a concern, the staff is always happy to talk to me. Don't know what Oklahoma is talking about!! This place is great!

Moved from Oklahoma to PITT and took my dog there. It is an average place with no one to take care of dogs that do not act like angels from God. Other places in Pittsburgh have more experience with dogs that require love and patience to be groomed and pet... I can recommend a FEW. Bottom line, there are better places for your dog in this area...

I've been taking my dogs to daycare here for about 5 years. I have never had a problem with Walkers. My dogs go 2-3 times a week. I have sat outside watching the dogs play for sometimes 30 mins. There is always someone outside with them playing; they even have baby pools for the dogs to splash in.

Great Groomer!

My dogs love getting groomed here! They are always excited to see Jen the groomer. She has lots of training and experience and they always look beautiful! Before they get groomed they stay for daycare where they have a blast with the other dogs and the staff is always interacting with them.

took my dog to day camp at wal...

took my dog to day camp at walkers on a regular basis to enable him to play and interact wit other dogs. I was picking my son up from school and parked along the side waiting for him, my window down because it was 81 degrees outside.I heard a very familiar sound from down over the road. It was the sound of a coonhound...............unmistakeable to anyone who owns one. He was baying and barking and very upset, in a 6 x 6 pen right outside the door...........UNSUPERVISED.......totally alone...........in 81 degree weather. I had to sit there for 15 minutes waiting for my son listening to my beautiful boy bark and cry, and no one responding to him at all. We immediately went to Walkers and were given several excuses. First, they said he was getting extra play time (in a 6 x 6 pen, 81 degrees and ALONE). Second, we were told hat a new dog had come in, and they needed to clean the pen our dog was in for the new dog ( I guess the fact the our dog went there all the time didn't matter). Then, when asked why no one was out there with him, we were told no one that worked outside was coming in until 3:00. In that case, NO DOG should hae been left outside. Our boy was totally stressed when we got home, drank 2 full bowls of water, and went to sleep against the cool wall. He was so stressed out, the next morning his stomach was a mess, he was eating grass and not feeling well. I would NEVER trust my beloved pet to thse people again. If your dog goes there, I would recommend you keep watch and ask a lot a questions, even though they will make up more than one answer.

Some of the facts stated in this posting are incorrect and need to be clarified. The day in question was a very nice day in MARCH, with very low humidity, and a breeze. The dog is a 100-pound coonhound. He was in our facility for doggie daycare. His inside suite was a 6x6 suite (36 square feet) but he was being moved to a 4x8 suite (32 square feet), in order to accommodate two larger dogs who were to be housed together for a week-long stay. Sometimes it is necessary to change rooms - it is not a question of whether a dog is a “regular” or not, it is a question of putting the dogs in the correct room for their size. All three dogs were outside – the two larger dogs were together in a play area, and the coonhound was in a play area. The size of the outside play areas that these dogs were in is 10x20 (200 square feet) each, not 6x6. None of our play areas are 6x6. Each play area had fresh water. The dogs were outside for 45 minutes on a beautiful day. All of these guests were perfectly safe with no risk of injury – we often use individual playtime for off-leash potty breaks, and anytime a pet’s inside room is changed, they have a potty break. After reading this posting, we wonder why the owner didn’t call us to let us know of her concerns. It is true that the dog was baying, but that is the nature of a coonhound. Even when he would be inside, he would be baying. When the dog was picked up, we offered to take the owner to the play area so she could see the size of it and the bowls of water, but she refused. For transparency, we point out that this owner worked at a competitive doggie daycare facility, but continued to bring her pet to our facility, , and she also applied several times for a position here but was not hired.

The owner, Michelle, was friendly and eager to show her business off. Looks forward to adding business and dogs!
