Horrible office, the staff is rude and unprofessional, the counselor needs anger management. Stay away from this place!

I have had the extreme pleasure of seeing Cathy Glassner since June of last year. Her class is never ending. With her patience with me, which is extreme, I have started something in my life I have never had. Caring about myself. I'm not sure how she did it, but all of a sudden I want to be happy and healthy. I owe my happiness and my marriage to her ability to make a person see the good in themselves and bring it to fruition. Thank you with all my heart Cathy. Still more to come from this very grateful person.

Where can I start with Cathy Glassner… We met for my first session on my birthday this year. It took me our whole first session to answer one question. The same question Cathy always starts our sessions with. “How are you?” Needless to say I felt a mess. Cathy has been nothing but patient with me, and kind. She has also given me hard truths when I needed to hear them. She is there as support, guidance and an even just a person to vent to when I need her. I truly feel she cares more than I ever would have thought. I consider myself lucky having stumbled upon the Aurora Family Counseling Center and Cathy. While I feel I have made substantial growth in these past months, and I plan to continue to meet with her as long as I can. Wish I could give more than 5 stars both her and the center they are worth it.

They recently in January 2017 have a New Remodeled Office and New Manager and staff! New Therapists as well! Definitely recommend them :)

Very relaxed place to heal. The office staff are like an old friend and treats you with respect and knowledge. The clinical staff are professional and gets the job done to feel better. It is a small family business so there are some small things that could be improved. Also the evening have groups helping the community and no office staff so only your therapist is able to help you during that time.

The woman who answered the phone had ZERO customer service skills and was horribly rude. I hung up and will not be calling back.

Exceptionally effective, experienced, professionals that CARE. Genuine heartfelt investment in the healing of individuals, family's as well as their community.

I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. The general manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was inquiring about their services and she would not assist me or answer any of my questions. This attitude is not what one should have when providing help in the mental health field.
