My wife and I were on our final day of our honeymoon. As we looked around online for a nice restaurant near by, Murphy's Chophouse came up. Everything was PERFECT! Our waitress Michelle did everything phenomenally. She knew the menu well enough to help find a gluten free option for my wife, explained the specials in a way that made both of us order them, even down to bottle service of our wine perfectly. The special came with a vegetable medley of sorts with the main component being brussel sprouts, which I've never enjoyed. Murphy's Chophouse made me a believer in brussel sprouts!! Murphy's Chophouse is on my list of all time favorite restaurnts that I've ever had the privilege to dine at!

This is only fancy restaurant around. They have good food and some great specials and desserts. Of course expect to pay more since they actually have a culinary trained chef as well as a pastry chef. The atmosphere is dressy casual and romantic. They recently opened a new chophouse in Hiawassee overlooking lake chatuge. On weekends they have live music. Good wine list, too. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a special dinner experience. They have absolutely no competition in the area. You would have to drive to Atlanta to get comparable meal.
