I really appreciate a blog like this as we know traveler have so much precautions that need to follow, Thank yo for sharing a wonderful blog!

I boarded my 3 dogs at the Safari Pet Resort December 14th through the 22nd. I am new to the area and toured several facilities before I decided on Safari Pet Resort. I am gravely disappointed that I made this choice.
My dogs have been boarded before, at several different facilities and I have never had an experience that made me this upset. Two of my dogs are very large, strong dogs. I made that abundantly clear to the staff that I spoke to before I had even decided board them at your facility. I was assured that your staff was well trained and comfortable working with dogs of their size and temperament.
As a dog owner, I know that boarding can be very stressful on the animal even in the best of situations. However, I was under the impression that they would be together, as they could be a comfort to one another...however they were not.
One of my dogs was returned to me with open wounds on her nose, clearly from scraping against a kennel. However, no one explained to me what happened or even acknowledged that there was anything wrong.
I did communicate to them that I was unhappy with the care that was provided. I received no response, nor have I gotten any explanation of what happened to my dog, how their behavior was during their stay, or any other feedback.
Again, two of my dogs are powerful breed dogs. Perhaps Pet Safari is great with small breeds? I can only say that I am so unhappy with the care my dogs received, as well as their response to my concerns. We will not be repeat customers!

There isn't enough wonderful things to say about this amazing place. First and foremost, they truly care about your pet. My wonder pup absolutely loves day camp. When he gets there he just about drags me down the hallway to get to the play room! Oh and get this, Safari has it's own soft serve ice cream machine! The all get a delicious treat when they go home. It's just too adorable. I have to work Monday through Friday and the thought of having my wonder pup cooped up in his crate absolutely breaks my heart. I feel truly blessed to have come across such a wonderful place. He also gets a report card at the end of the day! It lets you know what he did all day and who he hung out with! It's just toooo cool! He also gets his baths (Tropical Spa is what they call it-I think) and I just wish I got the same luxuries as he does! There is so much more I could say about this place, but you have to see for yourself! They even invite you to come in anytime and take a tour! Just Love It!!!!!!!!

I really love this fun resort for my pet. The staff do really care about your pet and they know everyone by first name even yours not just the pets!

My dog has been going to Safari's for the past 4 years. He started with their doggie daycare and he loved it. And I liked that he was just as tired as I was at the end of the day. I've had some past experiences at other boarding facilities where my dog came home with a bladder infection from being cooped up too long without potty breaks. I've never had that problem at Safari's. He now also goes there for grooming. They're the only ones who can groom him without saying that he needs a tranquilizer. They've never had a problem grooming him and he always looks great. I highly recommed Safari's to anyone who loves their pet as much as I do.
