Had a vintage evinrude 9.5 sportwin and Steve diagnosed all the issues, allowed me to order a part to fit it and then finished all the work, boat runs like a new motor. Told me straight talk and did exactly what he said he would for the price he quoted, very, very fair price. I have used the motor twice and it runs like a new one. Made me glad I found Boat Masters. Don't make a mistake unless you want to just waste money, call Boat Masters first.

Steve is the man I recommend him to anything but be prepared because he is talkative but he's a good ole boy and he will shoot you straight and won't rip you off.

As an avid fisherman and long time boat owner, knowing I had been off the water with my current boat for awhile; I knew I would have to do some extra maintenance to bring it up to standard. Normally I can take care of what needs doing, but this time my motor needed more than me and my manual. I contacted Stephen Eakes at his shop Boat Masters Marine. The service was Knowledgeable, the prices reasonable. Steve was happy to show me what was going on with my boat motor and why. He even made a Follow up call to me to check and make sure I was happy with the tune up and repairs. Not only have I now found my permanent Go-To for all my Boat needs, I feel as if I have found a new Trusted friend in the boating business!

I have used boat masters marine for years and love the quality of service. I took my Ranger R82 to them and he was able to diagnose the problem and repair within a week. I took my boat to the lake and it ran like new. If you need your boat worked on I strongly recommend that you call Boat Masters Marine.

I have been doing business with Boat Masters for two years. He has always been helpful. He listens to what I describe as the symptoms, asks a few questions, and quickly determines the correct part needed to fix the problem. He always has the part available in about two business days. It amazes me that Steve has never asked me to bring in the boat. He has talked me through solenoid, starter, and prop replacement. And most recently throttle cable adjustment. Because of Steve's service ethic I get to keep my 1994 pontoon boat in the water with minimal downtime. Steve has always taken a sincere interest when I call and has given a lot of GREAT free advice. This type of customer service is extremely rare for any business. The other boat repair place in Rutherford County has always tried to have me bring the boat in with a large price tag just to diagnose the problem. Steve has consistently demonstrated that he cares about me as a customer. I highly recommend this business. I believe the negative reviews of Boat Masters on Y.P. have been posted by less than ethical competitors. Give Steve the business and you will quickly learn that he is on the level. It has always been a positive experience doing business with Boat Masters.

I took my 1990 GT150 HP Johnson out board to Boatmasters on the recommendation of friend. It took him about ten minutes to diagnose the problem with the motor. I left it with him for a complete rebuild, (pistons, rings, triggers, power pak, etc.). i got it back in three weeks at a cost that was $2,000 LESS than any other estimates i had gotten, and the motor runs fine.

I will recommend Boatmasters to anyone who has a problem with any boat or motor. These bad reviews are obviously written by competitors who are trying to discredit his business because they can't compete with the quality and price of his workmanship.

Called told him the problem, he knew what the problem was immediately. Took my 200 Mercury in and sure enough it was a bad powerpack. I have owned outboards for over 30 years. It is nice to find somebody that still takes pride in their work , and knows what their talking about. Boat was kept inside along with others. Fast turn around.

Quick service and a fair price. Had boat back in two days instead of weeks.

This guy Steve at Boat Masters knows his stuff , My boat never ran better. Like his card said " Done Right The First Time". He had to fix what the jack legs in smyrna failed to fix. Highly recommend. Finally somebody in Rutherford County who can fix my boat in a timely manner.
