Do not do business with this company, Puget Sound Spas Inc.. The principal of this company is Tony M. Zuclich, President and Agent. Unfortunately I did not do enough checking on this company before I utilized their services. On the internet it shows a Mukilteo address and looks like it is a legitimate business. Now I find that he apparently closed this store and runs the company out of his van making service calls and in my case not backing up his work. He nailed me for over $2,500 less than 5 months ago and left me with a broken hot tub that I don’t know what it would cost to make it usable again.

On researching business licenses with the State of Washington it shows the only business he has a license for is an electrical contractor. He says he only does the electrical work within the hot tub but the license shows he’s a “Master Electrician.”

I had Tony Zuclich out in March 2015.to see what was wrong with my Caldera hot tub. He said it needed to have the controller changed out. He ordered the parts and installed a new Balboa and topside which was $1,000 and after $22 in shipping, $12 more in parts, and $560 in labor came to a total of $1,745.43 which I paid by check when he installed it on March 18, 2015. He said it also needed a new pump and motor which he installed March 23, 2015. This was $525 for the part, $28 shipping and $140 labor totaling $758.84 which was paid also by check on March 23, 2015. He assured me that after these repairs were complete I would have equivalent to a brand new hot tub. The first week in August 2015 the whole thing shut down and there was smoke coming from the inside. We immediately shut it off and called Tony. He came out on August 10, 2015 and said the heater is out because the automatic shut off in the Balboa motherboard did not work and the circulation pump caused the problem because the Balboa motherboard does not have a pressure sensor and did not shut the heater down. He said he would check with Balboa and see what they would pay for since the problem was caused by their product. Now, a week later he has not had the decency to call us back to see what could be done. After spending that much money less than 5 months later to have the whole system broken is not acceptable.
