The facility is set up and decorated in the way you’d expect any normal general practitioner’s office should look but, be warned. I have been a patient, reluctantly, for almost a year now seeing Doctor Manning regularly. I have been blamed for leaving the office and not making sure MY OWN prescription was written correctly, only to take said prescription to the pharmacy, have it rejected, waste gas, and ultimately ride back to Currituck Family Medicine and been told to wait a day to have the issue (a wrong spelling of MY NAME corrected) I find all of this comical concerning the nature and urgency of the prescription I needed as I have a chronic disease. With that said, I’ve had many awful encounters with the front desk staff transferring and sending me to voicemail when I legitimately have an urgent concern, I.e. a refill request on a medication I’ve been taking for years (YEARS) that is unsafe to stop cold turkey... there was no empathy in the staff at Curritick Family Medicine. I cannot tell you how much pain and anguish it has been for me since moving here to Moyock and transferring all of my medical records to such a poor facility. Being a medical professional myself, blatantly, I would not return to this piss poor facility and it’s ignorant staff if you paid me. P.S, kudos Doctor Manning for not looking at my medication history and nearly calling in a prescription to my pharmacy that could have (had the Pharmacist not caught it) killed me. Enter at your own risk folks, that’s all.

Highly professional and I truly feel that they care about their patients. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.
