I'm happy with the care I have been receiving from my provider, Ward Ebert, ARNP. He is caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. He works with you providing advice and expertise to assist you in finding appropriate treatment while respecting your boundaries. He has suggested helpful books for what I'm struggling with and has been an advocate for me in the workplace. I truly appreciate his professionalism, knowledge, and compassion. My illness has been complex to treat & his patience and persistence has been appreciated! The main receptionist is also very friendly and courteous. A+.

This place is a diamond in the rough as far as finding psychiatric care in Skagit and the surrounding areas. It can be hard to schedule appointments but I presume that is due to the lack of quality care around here. I have been receiving treatment here for a little over a year now and I feel so lucky to have found such excellent help for my mental illness. To say I don't know what I would do without my doctor here is an understatement. I was very noncompliant with my previous doctor but now I actually want the help. Shifa health is incredible.

I have been seeing a provider at the local Mt Vernon office, and was pleased to have such a good report with him. I have just received paperwork from my new insurance provider, and was shocked with the multiple diagnoses that were given to my insurance provider. I had one initial evaluation with the provider, with absolutely no formal evaluation tests given. It was more of a casual conversation about what was happening in my life at the time, which includes having an autoimmune disease that has been affecting me emotionally and physically. I have only had 5 meetings with this provider, and the visits have been focused on how my autoimmune disease has been reeking havoc on my moods (which has been directly correlated with repeatedly abnormal lab results). The meetings seemed to be more of a casual discussion between whats lately been going on in both of our lives. Now I'm concerned that I will be dropped from my insurance carrier, due to the severity of the diagnoses given. I have had through evaluations done by other providers in the past...and none have concluded that I suffer from "major/severe depression" or from "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder!" I only hope this causual diagnosis done at Shifa will not affect my insurance coverage! The worst part is these diagnoses were given without any thorough diagnostic evaluation & testing.
