I placed my trust in PetSmart and after my experience, I won't be returning for any more grooming services. I am writing a review because I don't want this to happen to someone else. I did not receive a call to let me know that services were done until closing time because an employee claimed that my number was misdialed. I had no knowledge that my dog had been waiting for a while. I did not know until I was called ten minutes to closing when they began to clean up. In addition, once I arrived to pick up my dog, I checked to see their work. I was disappointed with the service. My dog's ears were still matted and they were not properly cleaned out and he is prone to infection if the hair is not properly removed. Hence, the main reason I came to the groomer. I am disappointed and sad that my dog did not receive proper care and service, and I rather put my trust in someone else that will provide that for him. I raised this with the Manager, and one can only hope that after addressing this, some initiative will be taken so that better care is provided. We rely on a service and we put trust in the person who takes care of our pet, I am just extremely disappointed. I have always been happy with PetSmart for many years, and I understand mistakes, but after this, they completely lost me as a customer, including my trust in the services they provide. I feel that this place is overpriced given these circumstances. I just hope that this situation does not happen to someone else.
