Over the past seven or eight years, Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect has sat exclusively for my elderly parrot and elderly cat. Because I travel for business (frequently) and travel for pleasure (not so much), Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect has been a joy to work with each and every time. Particularly during the business trips. Due to the ability to call them at the last minute, I've made business trips that I might not have been able to, otherwise. And for me, as a business owner, also, that is worth's it's weight in gold! The parrot (who is old, fussy, & demanding) is "calm, cool & collected" when I return. Trust me, it wasn't always like this when I boarded her at other facilities. The cat, well those of you who own cats understand, goes w/the flow. Thanks Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect, you've saved my neck many times!

Over the past 12 or so years, we've had a number of different pets & travel frequently during that time. Prior to securing any plans, I call Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect first. They have been loyal, responsible and our pets have all enjoyed the time with them while we're gone. We've had several incidents that have come up during our trips, and they've called to explain the situation & each time, though very small problems, they've handled perfectly. The communication between each of us has been very good. We just love them, and more importantly, so do our pets!

Go for it! They filled in at the last minute, when our other sitter bailed out, and we couldn't be happier. Our trip was scheduled for two weeks, and we have a variety of pets; i.e.; one parrot, 2 gerbils, fish, and two cats. The cats are both older and have diabetes. One takes meds once a day and the other twice. What a schedule of confusion on the best of days! But Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect came thru with flying colors! When we arrived back, it was as though we'd never left the house. The pets were all peaceful, happy and content & so were we! Thanks Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect. We're planning our next vacation with you in mind!

Call them immediately. It was so nice not to take our elderly dog, who is diabetic to the kennel. He doesn't do well and I just don't think the kennel's we sent him to, care for him like Anna did during our recent 3 week vacation. We came back to discover he was very happy and content. We were thrilled the way everything went on our first try with a pet sitter. We'll definitely call Anna at Pet Sitters again.

Pet Sitters of Mount Prospect was truly unprofessional and I would never trust my beloved pet in their care. Not only did Anna cancel our first meeting, but she cancelled our second meeting as well within the same week. Phone calls were not returned and email response was not timely. The vibes I was getting from her were already negative, so a cancellation of a second meeting within the same week only confirmed my feelings. I would not want her in my house and I would not trust her to take care of my dog, she clearly is not as interested in this business as she may seem. When I questioned her interest, she told me it might be best to contact someone else. Clearly, she wasn't interested in pet sitting to begin with and this could have been handled in a much more professional manner. I would not recommend and I would not trust this service, please do yourself a favor and research other pet sitters. There are others out there that will genuinely care for your pets.

Had to leave on emergency at last minute and they came through all the way!! My two puppies (2 yorkies (6mths and 1year) just fell in love when she walked into the house. Though, they are easy to take care of, in general, I asked if she’d do several extras for the comfort of the dogs. And, it was apparent when I arrived home that my babies were well care for during the two weeks. They were happy and comfortable. Because of the length of time away from home, the interior plants needed watering. The pet sitter w/o charge, watered everything and the plants looked good, also.

I’m so pleased she stepped up to the plate as her advertising states.It was so easy, no more taking over to the kennel a day or two early (because of scheduling) and waiting to pick them up a day or two later, because of scheduling. I paid for what I needed, only and that was great in itself. Thanks Pet Sitters! A job well done.

They got us out of a real jam. Our assigned sitter fell ill and couldn’t up hold the work. (It was understandable). So Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect came to the rescue. We had a 2 week vacation planned and our 2 hold labs seemed to love her the instant they met her. So we knew we’d made the right choice from the beginning.. As the others have said, we came home and it was as though the just saw us a few hours ago. We plan to use her again and again and ....

Thanks to Pet Sitters our vacation continued as scheduled. The original sitter declined at the last minute, and we were left scurrying last the last minute. After meeting w/the owner, we were convinced this was the right choice in the first place. Our cat needs insulin twice a day. She administered the medicine in front of us at the meeting, and it was very clear that she performed this many times over the years. Our cat and elderly dog were happy and content when we arrived home after being away for nearly 3 weeks this past summer. In fact, we this experience, we trust her implicitly and can't imagine using anyone else.

As of this writing, we have two dogs that are very old and need medication. Pet Sitters gladly gave them each their meds w/o extra charge. When searching for a sitter we found many sitters who would not give medication and/or would charge extra. When we came home after nearly 3 weeks away, we were so surprised to see how quiet and relaxed the pet were. Everything was as we left as it should have been. Needless to say, we will be recommending this service to whomever asks. The dogs truly liked her and when speaking to Pet Sitters afterwards, she seemed pleased how the dogs responded during the entire vacation.

We used this service for the first time this summer. After reading the reviews and calling for an appointment, it convinced us that we called the just the right person. After coming back from an extended vacation of 2-1/2 weeks our pets were in tip top shape! They were so relaxed and happy. It was as though we left for an hour and came back home.There isn't an question we will gladly become a loyal customer of Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect.

I couldn't agree more with other writers!! They have been very loyal to us and calling at the last minute has never been a problem. We have been calling on them for over 15 years for our various pets. The dogs are especially fond of her; as they are so calm and peaceful when we've come home even from long trips. The rates are certainly are in line with the work, and we simply won't go out of town w/o calling them first.

We have called the service more then once at the last minute and yet have we had a problem. They have always been agreeable to anything we've asked to do for our pet or home, also. When we come home our pets over the years seem as though we never left the house. It's a wonderful feeling to be able to come home and find all in order.We just can't say enough great things about Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect.

Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect have been our sitter for over 10 years and I just can't say enough good things. As the other reviewer said, it's as though we just went to the market and came back. We have an elderly golden retriever and two cats, and it's apparent they just love her. They are calm and peaceful when we've returned from out of town. We've taken short weekend trips to 2 week trips, and they're behavior is the same.



Their rates are very reasonable, and it's nice to have someone over seeing the house, also.



Recommend them highly.

Pet Sitters of Mt Prospect admitted to skipping a day, leaving our cat and dog unattended. We have very strong indication that this may not have been an isolated occurrence either. I do not recommend Pet Sitters of Mt Prospect. If you care for your animals, try to find another pet sitter. That's what we are doing too.

We used Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect at the last minute and they couldn't have been better for our aging dog. The care and time they took w/him was evident when we returned home from a 4 day trip. It was as though we'd run to the grocery and back in an hour. He was calm and peaceful and looked splendid. They came twice a day and we found this to be just right for our needs. They are reasonable and we have recommended them to several other pet owners, knowing w/ confidence they will take as good of care w/their pets.

They have been our sitter exclusively for many years and trust them with our home and pets immensely. The owner is attentive to our pets needs and asking her to do an "extra" while we'regone is never a problem. The dogs just love her. It's just like going on a long errand and comingback to dogs who sometimes won't even rise when we return home from vacation. They're that rested and happy!
