Camp Mc Donald Animal Hospital is the absolute BEST! Dr. Scott Petereit is unequivocally the most caring, patient and compassionate veterinarian you will ever meet. He cares for our dog Molly, I could not be more confident with the knowledge and care given by Dr. Scott and that of the entire team. Now they even offer grooming. OMG! I brought Molly in for grooming and Jessica surpassed every expectation; this was Molly's first professional grooming. Jessica was so patient and magnificent with her, everything was done on time and I can'tt believe what an outstanding job she did on Molly. When I picked Molly up she was way beyond adorable, smelled fabulous, thinned out her coat perfectly and had sweet little bows in her ears and a darling bandana to match. I LOVE the idea that she was being groomed at Camp Mc Donald Animal Hospital that provides the best of everything. they know my Molly and Molly knows them which gives me a comfortable feeling to know I have left her in competent, and tender care in every way. Everyone at CMAH is just WONDERFUL! I am going to send everyone I know with pets to your hospital!

I brought in one of our pups, Chloe. Jessica surpassed every expectation; this was Chloe’s first professional grooming. The doctors at Camp McDonald are excellent and provide a very high level of care. There is never a problem getting an appointment and their pricing is consistent with other vets in the area. Without fail Doctor Scott and his team made the correct diagnosis on our animals and they always recommend the proper treatment. I highly recommend Camp McDonald Animal Hospital.

My dog had her teeth cleaned here. I was quoted $560 to do her teeth. They explained that because of her advanced dental problems that there would likely be significant costs involved with extractions. I was concerned about the price but appreciated all the precautions they were taking with putting my baby under anesthesia. I was so worried leaving her there for the tooth procedure but was so comforted when the doctor called me before she was put to sleep and immediately after she was done to let me know everything was OK. He knew I was concerned and made sure to contact me. In the end, the doctor found she only had one bad tooth and the total cost came to $115 less than I was quoted. I really appreciated the concern and honesty.

I moved to the area and brought my 5 year old Golden Retriever for his shots. Between the staff and the doctor who saw him, I found that he was more thoroughly examined by the vet than he ever was from my previous vet. They spent a long time reviewing his shots and discussing what shots were needed and others that were not. I felt he received a very thorough exam and the information I received regarding his health was very informative.

Since the new ownership the prices have tripled on everything! I have been there 2 times since Dr. Scott and his team of Dr.s took over. They try and push you to do procedures for "preventative" purposes...Both of the new Dr.s I have seen were fast talkers and reminded me of salesmen/women. They try and give you a guilt trip. They seem to value the dollar sign more than your pets. It's all about the money...I am now looking for a new vet. It is a shame since it used to be a great place with dr.s who cared about your animals. RUN FAST AND DON'T LOOK BACK!!!
