Buyer Beware!!!

I recently purchased a 2004 VW Jetta from Next Ride Motors. The car had some cosmetic blemishes but seemed mechanically sound and drove well. The day following the purchase I drove the car on a 400 mile journey. About half way into the trip the engine light came on so I had the vehicle checked out by a mechanic at which time I was informed that the vehicle had a salvaged engine from a 2003 VW Bettle installed in it. The Mechanic showed me visual indicators that confirmed this and estimated the repairs would run just under $500. One of the two markings on the engine the mechanic showed me I actually asked the salesman about at the time of purchase and he told me it was associated with the timing belt being serviced; that turned out to be false. I would never recommend them to anyone in the market for a used car!
