My Mom spend just less then two months at this facility. Everyday I visited once sometimes twice a day. Every time I visited Mom was dressed and clean and I would find someone on the staff talking with her often. Mom called the nurses and techs her friends. Everyone I had contact with was professional and caring. Sadly Mom passed I couldn't have picked a more caring place, they made her comfortable and comforted me and my family.

I tell everyone that asks about Mom how great she was cared for. Annmarie Wheeler

This facility called me for an interview based on a resume I had submitted. It took me an hour to get there and 30 minutes to fill out the application and other required documents. The first thing they asked afterwards was, "Are you an RN?" My resume clearly states that I am an LPN. And the job listing stated, "Must be an LPN or RN." After bringing this to their attention they said that the policy had recently changed and one must be an RN for the position and that they needed to update the job posting. I found this to be not only incompetent but extremely inconsiderate. 3 hours of my time completely wasted.

The staff did the minimal they had to do to provide care for my father. I went in one evening to find him sitting in his room in his wheelchair in a t-shirt, depends type underwear, covered in a blanket with his dinner in front of him and him yelling he was cold when he wasn't coughing up phlegm. The staff response. They were coming back to him when they took care of other residents. My dad was incapable at that time of feeding himself. The next day I get a call that they think dad has pneumonia. 2 different times I met dad at his doctor's appointment and they had sent dad out in 30 degree weather without a coat. Both times they said they couldn't find it even though it was in his wardrobe the entire time. Later his coat was stolen. My dad passed on the last day of the month. I had paid the next Month's bill the day before he passed. They deposited the check even though he was no longer a resident there. We requested it be returned along with the overcharge from the previous month. They continue to give us the run around even though it has been a month. We believe they hope we will forget about it.

That the staff is very caring and go over and beyond the scope of practice to give it all they have. The residents are happy and the families are supportive. If there is a problem, the staff will try their best to make sure it is resolved. There isn't a perfect nursing home out there - but I know this facility gives it their all. A special thank you to Frances Idoye the Administrator. She is kind, supportive and has given her heart to the residents and staff.

ONE OF THE WORST NURSING HOMES...

ONE OF THE WORST NURSING HOMES. THE MANAGMENT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT EMPLOYEES OR RESIDENTS. I WOULD NEVER PUT MY FAMILY MEMBER HERE. PERIOD
