Swim-Mor is South and Central New Jersey's premier swimming pool builder since 1967. We offer a variety of pools and spas in countless shapes and sizes to suit your property and your budget. In our 40 years in business, we've built quality pools and spas for the discerning residents of South and Central New Jersey. And at Swim-Mor "we" means "we" handling the job ourselves not only allows us to maintain the high quality standards that our name has come to stand for with pool construction but gets your pool built faster, with technicians that care. For most folks a pool is a major investment. And as with most major investments, there are concerns about staying power and longevity. At Swim-Mor, we are aware of these concerns. Through our construction process, we address them. We were the first pool builder in the area to use the long-lasting, low maintenance Gunite method of concrete construction. Gunite is pneumatically applied concrete that allows for greater flexibility in the design of pools and spas. It's also twice as strong as conventional, hand-packed concrete-lots more goes into a pool than water. And we don't mean your friends and family. You see, constructing a high quality pool, one that's durable, easy to care for and fits your needs, is Swim-Mor's biggest goal. That's why we offer the highest quality coping and tile in a wide variety of colors and styles.

Swim-Mor Pools installed my pool in 2006 and my family and I have enjoyed it every summer. They just replaced my pool filter pump and I came here to thank them for the prompt service and to thank Mike the technician for a job well done. People typically only write reviews to complain but I felt a job well done deserves a review as well. My pool has held up great and I have always referred my family and friends to Swim-Mor Pools.

Swim- mor installed our pool 8 years ago- it is falling apart- after 3 years the spa cracked. Then tiles started popping off- first one at a time now whole sections at a time with chunks of concrete. At first (the first 2 years) we were thrilled - now I am horrified that I ever recommended them to our neighbors. Stay away from Swim-Mor pools. They should lose their license.

There isn't a word strong enough in the English dictionary to explain my horrible experience with Swimmor. The owners of the company are some of the most unethical, down-right-dirty people I have had the displeasure of working with. I should have trusted my gut and ran, but instead I was talked into hiring them to do our $80,000 pool. They will do whatever they need to do to get out of doing repairs or fixing problems they have caused. It is now at the point that every conversation I have with any swimmor person, I record it so that I have proof. They will say one thing to shut you up but they will never follow through with it. Dealing with them is enough to drive a person crazy. I only hope that karma comes back and bites them so hard in the a$$. Their prices may sound great in the beginning but there are so many hidden charges that you are better going to a reputable company not these clowns. Trust me when I tell you, signing up with Swimmor is liking making a deal with devil. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

After our old pool was ruined in Hurricane Sandy, we decided we wanted to rebuild this spring. We hired Swimmor Pools in April and they completed the build much faster than the original company did. I would gladly recommend this company to my friend and family. They did right by us!

A bunch of my friends have used this company and now I have too and all I can say is that I am glad I listened to them. They built me a beautiful pool and I have no complaints!

After talking with several pool companies who quoted our pool-build way outside of our budget, we went to Swim-Mor. And while we still spent more than wed like to have, Swim-Mor was able to build us a wonderful pool much closer to the number we wanted. Nothing but praise for this company!

This has been a wonderful expe...

This has been a wonderful experience. Every year our pool is open for 5 months. We always look forward to entertaining family and friends and everyone loves when our pool is open. It's been little to no upkeep and the pool is 10 years old

UNHAPPY SWIM-MOR POOL CUSTOMER

I purchased my Swim-Mor Pool in 2002. It cost close to $30,000. Within two years we had structural problems. This included falling tile, plaster cracks, and loose coping. When brought to their attention as my husband and I visited the showroom and called numerous times we were actually yelled at by the man at the service desk. The service reps were rude, unprofessional and refused to come and see our pool. We had problem after problem, and were denied help. This has been going on for years. After 8 years, the pool looks as if it is falling apart. We have a collection of hundreds of tiles that have fallen into the pool. The plaster has cracks, and also the terra cotta coping can be lifted up with bare hands. It was suggested to us by contractors that we brought in to access the situation that perhaps the cement was not mixed properly. I'm not sure what went wrong, but clearly something is not right. The last pool we had was 20 years old, and not a loss of tile.

We recently contacted SWIM-MOR to make them aware of the situation, and put it in writing because the situation was so bad. We have been getting estimates in the $13,000-$15,000 range to fix the pool. We wrote a professional letter to SWIM MOR. The response from the owner took all of two sentences, saying very clearly that the pool was not covered by any warranty. Now, you would think if this man was professional and had any sense of business ethics, that he at least would come to see our pool in person after what we explained in the letter. Our pool is a disgrace, and paying upwards of $15,000 to fix a pool that is 8 years old is quite unbelievable. I had no other recourse but to post the pictures up on YOUTUBE.COM. Since the owner felt he wasn't responsible to care for us and the problems of our pool, I felt that it was time to post the pictures. You can clearly see that something must have went wrong in the construction of our pool. Why else? I have noticed in other postings that they try to place the blame on the pool owner. We have maintained our pool properly, and nothing could have caused this much damage. It's a shame SWIM-MOR won't take responsibility, nor will the owner bother to find the time to look at our pool. Unfortunately, we had to "one up" them. We actually called SWIM-MOR and told them we wanted an estimate on a swimming pool repair. That was the only way they came out. (We also didn't happen to mention that they built the pool.) It was very interesting to receive the written estimate to correct the pool that they built. Not one for deceipt, but in this case, again, wanted to see what they would charge. How ironic is that?

Please feel free to check out my SWIM-MOR video on YOU TUBE. Also, if anyone would like to e-mail me, I have hundreds of pictures documenting my pool. It is a shame that it comes to this, when the easiest solution would have been to take responsibility for their work. At this point, I just can't stand the thought of anyone being treated the way that we were treated or to give this company any business whatsoever. I stand by my convictions and unfortunately; again, in my opinion, I would tell anyone and everyone to avoid having any work done by SWIM-MOR. Very displeased. PS. Had to post a star to leave a comment, but they are worthy of nothing in my opinion.

Beautiful Pool, Excellent Service, FAST.

I purchased a pool from Swim-Mor Pools at the end of 2009 and it was started and completed in April of 2010 and I could not be happier. The pool is beautiful with a raised stone wall with waterfalls coming out and a thermal ledge with an umbrella that I could sit under all day. The crews that came to be house were all very friendly and worked harder then I have ever scene people work. They didn't stop from the moment they arrived until the job was done. I have to say that I have had work done on my home in the past but nothing went as smooth as the pool project. Things have even gone well with the service on the pool after it was done. I have had the crews out a couple times to adjust the computer system that controls the pool because my neighbors all have Swim-Mor Pools with same wireless system and they have always been very responsive. I would recommend Swim-Mor to anyone shopping for a pool.

The Worst Customer Service I've Ever Had

We put our pool in last fall (haven't even used it yet!) The process was good, but now that the pool is in, everything's been bad. We called in February (at their request) to set up an appointment for our pool opening. Never heard about a date, but they immediately charged our credit card the $325. As of last week (mid-April) still no date, so we call. They say they "will call the day before".. which may not be a good idea - I thought an "appointment", by definition, meant a mutually agreable time. Apparently not to SwimMor. Our salesguy, Bob Lang never called back and the manager never called back. They are very unresponsive and very inflexible. Funny how responsive they were BEFORE we spent over $40,000 on a pool!

And to add to that, the customer service girl was so incredibly rude. So finally they tell us we are on their schedule for Saturday (which we say won't work because we are going to be out of town) and they basically say "too bad. if you can't do Saturday, we will have to put you back into the mix and we don't know when we will come.

Needless to say we are very frustrated, and will NOT be recommending them to anyone else. It's a shame..we had high hopes when we built the pool..but I guess once they have your money they don't care about you.

And one more thing..

A few days after the township came to give us the CO and do a final inspection of the pool, a SwimMor truck pulls up (unannounced, nor did they attempt to tell us they were there..for all they knew no one was home), they walk thru the gate and back by the pool, and TAKE A PIECE OFF THE PUMP!

Apparently they only put it there until it passed, then they took it back! My husband watched them do it..the guy wouldn't tell him what it was or give it back..and we are still battling them for it.

Next step..calling the township to come back out and tell us what's missing .. I don't want my family using a pool that they've "rigged" in some way that's not legal.
