Stay away.. far away

What a shame, we have been going to this place, our favorite place, for over twenty years. about a year ago new owners took over. we have tried it 5 times since then and each time was worse then the last. our last and final time was 9/25/12. the chicken milanese was always pan fried and seasoned very well. this time it was thrown into a fryer and tasted like dirty fryer oil. the side of cheese ravioli was thrown onto the same dish as the chicken and the sauce tasted like watered down lemon from the lemon butter from the chicken which was also sitting in a pool of water.. my daughters had linguine and clams... horrible.. no other words. it was sitting in a pool of water too. the waitress (very sweet) asked how everything was and we told her the truth, it was the worst meal we ever had there in over twenty years. she told us she would send the owner over. after about 15 minutes a young girl came over to the table with this blank stare. i asked her if she was the owner and she said her father was and rudely ask us what the problem was. i told her and she had an smart answer for everything then proceeded to insult us further by stating she could not give us the meal for nothing. i told her that i wasn't asking for anything. she told us that is what the waitress told her that we said we didn't want to pay for anything. she then walked away abruptly saying she would take some money off the bill. the waitress brought the check, 15.00 off a 68.00 check, another insult, and i asked her if she said that and she replied with out hesitation.." no, all i said is that you wanted to talk to owner." oh well nothing stays the same forever. I give the place 6 months.. maybe the next owners will know how to cook and treat people....
