Marrins was professional and treated my move with great care. Good price and very skilled crew allowed me to breathe easy during the entire transition. Very impressed.

I had a truly awful experience with these movers. I highly recommend going with a different company. Here is what happened to me:



1) Delivered my goods 2 weeks later than the contractual limit

2) Forgot one of my boxes and did not receive that for an additional week

3) Double charged me for the move. I had to comb my credit card statement. They did not apologize nor notify me.

4) Broke my $1500 Flat Screen TV and refused to pay more than $0.60 per pound.



I hope this review finds some people and helps avoid additional headaches.

From the time the representative came to give a quote until the time the crew left after moving - the entire experience was simply awesome!



Very very professional staff. Crew was very polite and courteous. Completed my move at an extremely fast pace. Took good care of my furniture, existing home and new home. All of this at very competitive price.



Simply loved the experience and i highly recommend them for your home move!

If you want to risk having movers who show up late and hungover after a bar fight, who don't even pretend to value your belongings, who take smoke breaks every 20 minutes, then use Marrin's. If not, try someone else. Of course, we can only hope that Marrin's wil fix this problem for those of you who already chose them.

I've used Marrins twice now. The first time I used Marrins was a year ago and I had exceptional service. The movers were polite, on time, hard workers and took great care of my stuff. They treated my belongings like they were their own. This is very important when moving to a new state and it was very much appreciated!

Unfortunately the second time around things were much different. The movers showed up late. Originally they were scheduled a day earlier, things change, no problem. But on the day they were now supposed to show up, they came 2.5 hours late, blaming it on their GPS. Unfortunately it became very obvious that the movers that showed up were hungover. In fact, they had been in a bar fight that night which resulted in a black and blue eye on one guy and a bad ankle on the other. Thankfully one of the guys was ok and was not having post-drinking diarrhea. Honestly, I laughed this off... again, stuff happens. However, they treated our belongings poorly. I noticed my desk was (hopefully accidently) broken when they were taking it apart. He said, "yeah, thats why we don't insure these." Honestly, an apology would have sufficed.

Movers arrived 1.5 hours past my allotted time window. I later learned that this was due to the driver getting the order of deliveries wrong for that day. I placed multiple calls that day in order to get an update but you only reach their "call center" on the weekends who are unable to provide you with any info. The manager I spoke with wasn't very sincere in his apology and instead offered excuses and pretty much said these things happen sometimes. He said "Would you rather have someone who arrives late and doesn't break your things or someone who arrives on time and does break your things," suggesting that I can't have both. Also, during this call, he mentioned that I sound like a detailed person and offered me a job at dispatch would I found very unprofessional. No attempt was made to offer a refund on travel time or a credit to apply to a future move.



Once the movers got there, they failed to supply a crate large enough for the television even though it was on the estimate with the correct size. The movers were courteous and did a great job once they finally arrived but be wary of the time windows they give you and please verify the time of your appointment. I regret to say I will be using other companies in the future.
