Morrisville, NC Patient Coordinator: tetanus vaccine is $40 if you do not have insurance.

Saurabh Gupta: Do you guys file Blue cross blue shied insurance ? and if I want to get it today can I come to walk-in?

Morrisville, NC Patient Coordinator: We are in net-work with BCBS. Have you been seen here before?

Saurabh Gupta: No

Morrisville, NC Patient Coordinator: We close at 4PM today.

Saurabh Gupta: Can I have an appointment for 3:30 ?

Morrisville, NC Patient Coordinator: You are welcome to walk-in. We will not be able to give you the vaccine if it is after 3:30 today.

Saurabh Gupta: okay I will get there as soon as possible

I got there at 3:20 and asked for the services, I was handed over the form saying "PPD test" and I said "I need a tetanus shot" she replied "TDap booster and TB test are the same thing". I almost fainted there knowing what kind of dumb place I had come in. She insisted she is sure that they are the same and I need to fill up that form. I told her I had a nail in my heel and I need to see the doctor to get the tetanus shot. She said "I am sorry for misunderstanding what you wanted and we are out of appointments and I can give an appointment for tomorrow" I just decide to leave that place right then and there and went to CVS minute clinic in cary which was an amazing service.
