The Program Development Division is a part of the Vermont Agency of Transportation, which is administered by the State of Vermont. The division is responsible for the design of capital projects undertaken by the Vermont Agency of Transportation. The Program Development Division provides technical support to regional planning commissions, town governments and citizens. Operational for more than 25 years, the Vermont Agency of Transportation serves a population of over 600,000. The agency s operation division includes maintenance, central garage, technical services, and aviation, railways and public transit program sections. It also operates through policy and planning and finance and administration divisions.
