The success of Christian education is not found in sports programs, new buildings, technological advances, large enrollment or a multitude of fund raising campaigns. In a truly Christian school, success is defined by growth in godliness. As Pastor Chuck Phelps states, parents must understand that a truly Christian school is one that is a unique ministry to those who are dedicated to holiness. The Christian school is only as sound as it moves those involved toward godliness of life and character. That must be the first priority. As godliness is promoted in the fertile soil of Christian homes, churches and schools, godly men and women emerge. Over the past four years, we have seen God grow our school in many ways. In a relatively short time we have crafted an academic program that we believe equips young people to represent Christ well in their future endeavors. We have expanded the number of classes that we offer in our upper grades and have added grade levels in the elementary school. The Lord continues to amaze us by bringing qualified and passionate teachers. Much ahead of schedule, we have the beginning of an excellent fine arts program. This upcoming school year, we anticipate continued growth in these areas as well as a record enrollment. All of this is possible because of God's grace and blessing poured out like spring showers on our school. God has used the generosity of so many to establish the work of Cornerstone. We are indebted to the membership and of the pastoral staff at Morningview Baptist Church. Our dedicated Board as well as the office and teaching staff of Cornerstone remain humble and teachable servants who use their gifts to serve our parents and students. From now until the end of May, you have many opportunities to experience the planting of the Lord at Cornerstone. Schedule an appointment to visit our school or a particular class. As we enter our fifth academic year, we remain committed to cultivating a beautiful garden and we invite your student to enjoy it with us!
