Provided by YPmobileThis place is way overpriced and you can't get the management team to do anything. Ex: My dryer doesn't dry my clothes, we have had 3 people out to look at it, yet they will not replace it. It is poorly insulated and slowly but surely becoming a place I hate to live. The staff does not genuinely care about its residents. When you have a package come when you are not home, it seems like the end of the world for one of the staff members to get up out of their desk and get your package. If you are going to spend this kind of money, live somewhere else!!!

Provided by YP.comThe walls here are paper thin. I can hear everything outside and smell the stinky food my neighbors are cooking. I had to take the clothes out of my closet because the smell was permeating everything. Poor insulation so that means higher electricity bills. The kitchen appliances are dirty and outdated. The floors are worn and need to be replaced. The outside of the buildings need pressure washing because they are covered in layers of dirt. Don't waste your money. This place is way overpriced.

Provided by YPmobileWell I will say I love the location of the area. I love the east side of montgomery. Now the place run away. Have you every heard of an apartment running a 230 dollar electricity bill oh I have. It's right here with brainless manager and the maintenance people. Well over these past few months I've called several times my heat doesn't work and oh it works fine just have to use emergency heat or better yet the coolant out gotta put some back in there. So if this problem keeps happen over and over and f@&&& over (which it did) wouldn't you get the picture, throw the piece if crap ac unit you have in the trash can. Of course not bp (barrington plane). So for the price that they want, nope wouldn't pay it my amenities were old it's very spacious of course but for the price, verandas is such a better choice. Management staff is death blind and stupid. Excuse my rudeness but I'm trying to help you, never move in this place. I've had problems and I feel for the poor person moving in after me. I hate and when I mean HATE. I hate barrington place

Provided by YPmobileAlthough I don't like paying extra for garbage pickup, I've lived in a lot of apartments in Montgomery and this is by far the nicest. We have been living here for 3 years, are in our second apartment (along with our cat) and have never had any problems.

Provided by YP.comits a nice place to stay. but i have notice that they move all of the minorities(african americans) in one area in the apartment complex which i dont think that it is right they shouldnt do that at all. they place them all on the front left side of the complex. its so sad that segregation is still going on in 2010.

Provided by YP.comThis is a very nice apartment community or so it seems on the surface. The walls in the complex are paper thin and the management company is very unprofessional and outright rude. The apartments are the most expensive in the area and are definitely not worth the money. I would recommend that you look elsewhere or if you do still decide to go with Barrington Place make sure you go over the contract and the grounds with a fine tooth comb.

Provided by YP.comAt first glance, this is a very nice apartment complex. It is built more like townhomes with several ammenities. Apartments are spacious and we liked the 2 gyms and pools. Now for the bad: The walls are paper thin....and I do mean paper thin. You can hear those above and beside you having discussions even at a normal level. The plumbing is atrocious and you will have to use a plunger frequently. The maintenance personnel usually take a day or two to get to any problems you have. If you have a pet...forget about it. They charge a ridiculous "Pet Fee" of $250 per pet. It is not until you move out that you learn it is non-refundable and does not actually cover any damages to the apartment, but is rather to cover the costs of the upkeep of the grounds. If you pet has an accident of any kind, expect to have to pay to replace the carpet in the entire apartment. They will not even attempt to steam clean it. If you actually want to use the theater room or clubhouse, they will charge you to use it, so having these facilities is not as good a deal as they make it out to be. While I do not recommend this place, if you do decide to live here, make sure that you go over EVERYTHING with a fine tooth comb....and do not be suprised when they hit you up for rediculous charges when you leave.
