Anytime Fitness IS the cheapest “gym”* in town and it lives down to its reputation. The first things you notice when you walk onto the premises are the dirty floor, the carpet stains everywhere, the dust and dirt build-up on the third generation Nautilus equipment, and the scarcity of standard gym equipment one would normally find in any real gym. To make matters worse, management spends little to no time maintaining what limited equipment they have. Anytime is like a bad buffet: only low quality items are available, but it is all you can eat (open 24 hours a day.)



If you are a clean freak, then this place will give you hives. The restrooms (as with the rest of the premises) are only cleaned about once every couple of weeks. Typically, you can find puddles of urine in the men’s restroom along with brown dried up urine adhering to the toilet bowl and floor. Since there are no carpets in the restrooms, anything you step into will also be tracked through the gym and onto any leg exercise equipment.



The music played over the stereo system is programmed by the management, loud and obtrusive, and not at all conducive to a workout environs. If you like heavy metal, religious, or rap music, then this is your kind of venue. Additionally, ownership likes to post religious scripture and testimonials throughout the space.



The three male trainers available for novices are hardly qualified and have no college education whatsoever. The one female posted as a trainer is qualified and college educated, but I have never seen her at the site before.



If you are a minimalist and have no standards, no money, or no access to another gym that is open when you have time to workout, then this is the gym for you.

*”Gym” is a misnomer; this is really two small joined boutique shop spaces in a strip mall. There are two restrooms; one for males and one for females. Each restroom has only one toilet, which oftentimes is out of toilet paper, out of paper towels or out of order.
