I currently have properties and water bills from 4 separate water systems in Louisiana. Monterey Rural Water System is by far, the highest and worst quality of all. The base cost per month is $38.00. Compared to my other bills, the most being $21.00 per month, this is extremely high. The quality of the water is very poor. The taste is very salty and smells bad. Even with a filter, it is barely drinkable. I have also noticed them being in violation of contaminates which worries me.
