Dr. Oriba specializes in the detection and treatment of skin cancers. His pathology training also aids in examination of difficult histological cases. He also treats general dermatology problems. He has performed over 10,000 Mohs Micrographic Surgical procedures. He is board certified in Dermatology, Dermatopathology, and Internal Medicine. Should Dr. Oriba happen to find a suspicious lesion, he may perform a biopsy that same day. Dr. Howard Oriba graduated from UCLA, and received his medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He completed his Dermatology Residency at US Naval Hospital, San Diego. In addition, Dr. Oriba has completed subspecialty training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Dermatopathology Fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Upon completion of his training, he became Head of Dermatology surgery and Dermatopathology at The Keck School of Medicine of USC.
