brought in 6 pairs of levies to be patched, was told they would be ready in a week. when I went back to pick them up was told they weren't done. she gave me 2 pairs that were done and the other 4 would be ready in 3 days. went to get them and she could only find 2 of the 4 .needless to say I won't be going back there again

Go somewhere else, last year I took pants to be hemmed 4 pair for a cruise I was going on and she did a good job (I thought), and had no problems. This year for my cruise I took two swimsuits, to get straps shorten, and 4 long dresses to be hemmed. I tried them on for her so they would be the right length and not to short. I dropped them off on 8/24 and was to pick them up on the following Wednesday the 29th. I didn't get around to picking them up until that Friday the 31st and she tells me that none of them are done. I nearly had a heart attack for I was to go on my 7 day cruise in two days. She said, that her sewing machine broke down and she had to have it repaired and then she had to go to Los Angeles for some thread. She promised to have them done by that Saturday. She never even called to let me know that they wouldn't be ready or I would of had someone else do them. Since she was rushing she shortened 3 of my dresses to short, (I can't wear heels with them only flats and they are still short) This really upset me when I got home, for the were expensive long dresses. Also, I took out a pair of the dress pants she shortened last year that I have never worn to discover when she hemmed them that she pulled the thread too tight, all it is all pulled at the bottom almost like it is pleated. These are my expensive dress pants that go to my suit. DON'T GO HERE .... For the price she charged me, my daughter who works in Orange CA can get them done professionally for way less.
