Addmaster is a leading manufacturer of bank peripherals, including eceipt and validation printers, check readers (MICR Readers) and check image scanners. The company was established in 1962, and its original product, the Addmaster adding machine, was an instant success and quickly became the nation s best selling adding machine. Addmaster followed this success with a technological progression into products such as electronic calculators, ECRs, and bank teller systems. Addmaster introduced the first inkjet teller printer to the banking industry in 1989. Addmaster s newest generation of inkjet printers, the IJ6080, features advances in print speed, quality, connectivity and cost of ownership. The printers are installed in thousands of bank branches across the country, including system-wide installations at Wells Fargo Bank and Wachovia Bank. In all, over 250,000 Addmaster printers have been installed in banks throughout the United States. The company is headquartered in Monrovia, Calif.
