Beware of deceptive pricing! On the positive, I was a walk-in, and they took me in and got my eye exam and glasses ordered.

HOWEVER, when it was time to check out and pay for my glasses, they just added $34.99 to my total for OPTIONAL insurance. They did NOT say this is optional--I felt they were being slick and trying to add that in in hopes I wouldn't notice. When I said this insurance is optional , isn't it, she admitted it was. I said no I didn't want it. She took it off, then gave me the REAL total, which included the eye exam. The first price she gave me with the added insurance price did not include the eye exam, another tactic I think they engaged in so I wouldn't realize just how much I was actually paying so I would pay for that insurance. I haven't gotten my glasses yet, so I hope they don't do anything to them, but I doubt I would go back to this place after the way they tried to deceive me on pricing. And in my opinion, their "40% off" is just a gimmick to get you in the store--the frames are extremely overpriced so they can afford to take off 40% and still make a profit.
