Piedmont Middle School offers an array of learning opportunities for students in grades six through eight. It also provides a variety of sports programs, such as football, cheerleading, soccer, baseball and softball. Additionally, the school offers individual and group counseling services. Its media center offers a collection of books and music CDs. The school also operates chess, drama and art clubs. Its parent-teacher association conducts several fundraisers to support campus activities. Piedmont Middle School serves more than 750 students and is located in Monroe, N.C.
