Paul was a good friend and excellent attorney, and a worthy opponent. I respected him greatly, and he was a skilled jokester. Sadly, Paul passed away suddenly on June 11, 2016. He will be missed, and remembered.

Absolutely the best attorney you will ever find! I promise!!! Do not waste your time and money on any other attorney! Over the past two years I have had nothing but disappointment out of my previous attorney and legal process of my divorce, property settlement and child custody case. Emotionally exhausted and feeling defeated I called Paul Kidd Jr to make an appointment. To my surprise unlike other attorneys, he called me back personally and took the time to listen to my concerns. I was referred to Paul Kidd from a good friend. I am an out of state non-custodial father looking for nothing more than to continue to be a part of my children's life. Every year my children's mother takes me to court for either more money or some ridiculous reason. Since retaining Paul Kidd Jr. last year, he has made those visits to court quite painless. It's as easy as sending Paul your paperwork and feel confident he and his staff have got it all taken care of. Previous attorneys I've had I always felt I had to stay on top of them. DEADBEAT DAD ESCORTED OUT IN HANDCUFFS AFTER BEING GRILLED ON THE WITNESS STAND BY MR. KIDD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I recently found myself in the unfortunate situation of needing an attorney. I made the mistake assuming any attorney would suffice, and I couldn't have been more wrong. My needs and concerns were not being met, nor did I feel I was being treated like I mattered. I then made the decision to use Paul Kidd Jr. Within the first conversation we had, I knew I had made the right choice. He always listened, made time for me and treated my situation as if it were his own. Paul always made me feel reassured, regardless of the difficulty of my case. Things could not have worked out better for me and my custody situation. Attention to detail and actually caring about my case, resulted in all my requests being met and to boot, my ex was escorted out of the courthouse in handcuffs and off to jail!!! Thank you Paul!!! I hope I never need an attorney again, but if I do I will definitely use him again.

I want to start by thanking Mr. Kidd and Lisa for everything they have done for me and my boys. I wasn't the easiest client to have but he was always straight forward with me and faught for what I deserved. He was my third attempt to divorce my ex and each lawyer had a different reason for why I would have to give my ex-husband the boys on his 14 days off. Mr. Kidd did everything he could to keep that from happening and he succeeded. If you or anyone you know is going through a divorce or custody fight I strongly suggest you give Mr. Kidd and Lisa a call. He is worth every dime you have to pay. And if your kids are worth everything to you like mine are you would pay double.

I don't know where to begin... First of all I would like to start with saying I was one of you searching for someone who cared in Monroe. I have had 1 attorney that just didn't work out. I read each and every review on here and made the call. Also in my decision making I had others who referred me to Kidd. Lisa and Paul are pretty straight shooters and don't sugar coat anything. I know i wore both of them out at times but he covered everything that mattered to me. He is objective and goal driven. I have been in the Ouachita Parish Hearing officer room 10 times in the last 6 years and this was by far the easiest experience. I honestly felt like we had our backs against the wall stopping my ex to relocate with the children, and Kidd did what he needed to do to make my children happy and remain with their friends and family in Louisiana rather than a state they knew nobody. It seemed that Paul Kidd was more excited than I was. I was still under the shock of it all but to see an attorney excited about more than a "W" was something I have never experienced. I hope my review helps you make a smart decisions as others did for me.

I cannot praise Paul and his assistant Lisa enough! I am a father to 2 children with my youngest now being 16. I and my wife have had my youngest daughter since her mother abandoned her at age 12 and moved to another town 4 hours away. She has had little to no contact with her what so ever not phone calls or visits just random text messages. We waited 2 years to begin this process hoping that she would step up and be a parent but with the passing of time we decided it was time to contact Mr. Kidd. I never even considered another lawyer as I have heard many people tell of his history to fight for the rights of a parent especially a fathers rights which many lawyers will not do. They have the assumption that the mother is the primary choice when in fact it has become more and more proven that the father in a lot of cases are more prone to be the better caregiver. Long story short many of you know that it is a battle for a father to gain custody of a child much less to be awarded child support. We have been fighting this since last July and it is still ongoing but Mr. Kidd and Lisa have fought for us every step of the way. They have gone above and beyond our expectations and the fight is still ongoing due to her lack of submitting records and continuously delaying our case. Much to her surprise she is not only being considered to be in contempt of court for delaying this matter but every attempt she has made to stall or completely get out of her parental role both by her presence in her life and financially. The cost for his expertise is worth every penny and the best way I can describe him is a pit bull. He will fight to the bitter end for the rights of the children whether it is for the mother or father. He is not afraid to step out of the circle to take on a case I have found most lawyers wont due to societies way of thinking. He is open minded, thorough and by far the man for the job. He will not stop until justice has been done. He is very professional and not only answers your questions but questions sometimes only a person in the legal field would know to ask. ANY OTHER LAWYER WOULD BE A WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN OUR OPINION WHEN IT COMES TO THE INTEREST OF OUR CHILDREN!

Best custody lawyer in Monroe, PERIOD! NOT CHEAP BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR... My son is 71/2 years old and I have been in court fighting over him for 7 years. I am a dad that was awarded custody of my son when he was 2 1/2 years old. The mother has now went through 5 different lawyers telling lie after lie after lie. Needless to say, I still have my son and Paul has won for me every time. I just want to say that the lawyers Paul beat where very well know lawyers from the Monroe area. He will shoot you straight and he honestly cared for me and my family. Paul is my friend and I would recommend him to anyone with divorce or custody issues.

Paul Kidd Jr. is known as the best divorce lawyer in Monroe so I chose him for my divorce. I am thankful that I hired him and I agree that he is the best.
