We were at Gymkinetics for the 3 and 4 year old classes for two sessions. In that time, I never saw one staff member or coach smile. I mentioned it to other parents who said they noticed the same thing. Teachers of children should be enthusiastic and warm; instead, these people looked miserable. In addition, the place was a mess. The section where the young children had class looked like a big storage room with equipment not in use tossed to the side. We have switched to United Gymnastics Academy and the difference is extraordinary. The staff and coaches are friendly and enthusiastic, the gym is neat and clean, and the kids are learning so many more skills.

If so...this is the place to be! I've gone for years, for just exercise for my 2 girls. They enjoyed it there until.....team papers came! We really did not intend on keeping the girls in it for too long, but it would have been nice being spoken to about it. Beth, the receptionist, is as about as cold as my freezer. She gives no answers. You would think after spending so much money, they would at least give you the decency to give you some report of what was to come....what your child needs to do, etc...if they would like to keep her around. Nothing. Funny part, there are those moms that so happen to "run" into the owner, shady man (and this is true), and crazy...her daughter got a paper! I saw my daughter go above so many girls that received papers before her...and their reason is "they go by certain standards, and who is coach-able". What a joke. The girls who get by are little brats who do not know how to listen, but mommy is there with her checkbook! I'm begging you.....ask around about this place!!! There are so many better places if your little girl or boy wants to try it and see where it can go...but unless you have an endless checking acct. or an "in", go here. They'll be happy to have you! I really would like to start some website against this place...there are sooooo many moms who feel the same way I do, and have been thru it too....but people know of this place so it stinks...call others!!!
