Beautiful people and a wonderful atmosphere. The food is just like eating at grandma’s ,home made doesn’t taste like it’s out of a can.

I went to The Velvet Grill and Creamery twice this past week. The first time, I had clam chowder and a grilled cheese sandwich and [mango?]raspberry sorbet for dessert. Good old fashioned comfort food! The second time, I had salmon with hollandaise sauce over sauteed spinach and veggies and rice pilaf, plus a side order of 4 garlic prawns. Everything was reasonably priced with generous proportions. I took a piece of the salmon home with me and ate it later on with pita crackers and neufchatel. The servers and other patrons were very nice. Please try 'em- they're really good!
