The Parent Resource Center is a private, nonprofit, child abuse prevention agency that offers in-home mentoring, support and parenting educational services to parents for more than 25 years. It works for the prevention of child abuse and neglect in the communities of Stanislaus County, Calif. The center provides infant parenting, car seat education, and adult and teen parenting programs. Its infant and toddler development center offers respite child care services for children up to 5 years. The center receives funds from community sources, such as grants, foundations, local businesses, service clubs, fundraising events, private individuals and government contracts. The Parent Resource Center is located in Modesto, Calif.
