In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. First time I went. My waitress was friendly but my gsons french toast dip was limp. My food was tasteless and cold but I didn't say anything till I got to the cold bisquits and gravy. The MANAGER was SUPER SPECIAL and reordered and comped my breakfast though that was not my intent..All I wanted was hot and tasty food..Also the menu is to confusing even if it is different. The second plate was better but I left disappointed their food

Had to wait over an hour. While other people that came in after us ate and left. The waitress apologized but the manager should have done something. We won't be back
