Since 1935, Mobile Housing Board, chartered under the laws of the state of Alabama, has been providing and administering affordable housing programs for the citizens of Mobile, Ala. The board offers several housing programs in the categories of property listings, home sales, housing choice voucher and senior living. Its service divisions include community development/ services, training center, housing counseling and youth academy. Mobile Housing Board provides housing as well as housing assistance to more than 7,000 families.
