Trail King Industries is an equipment trailer manufacturer with a complete line of trailers, for the construction, transportation and industrial markets, and is headquartered in Mitchell, S.D. Its trailers range in capacities from 6,000 to 1 million pounds, and are sold all over the world. Established in 1978, the product line was expanded to include specialty trailers, with hydraulic tails, detachable goosenecks, and many other features, with capacities of up to 70,000 pounds. In 1985, a commercial line of transportation trailers was developed. The company s facilities have expanded include a second plant of more than 177,000-square-feet, bringing total available capacity to over 265,000-square-feet. Trail King Industries also has a manufacturing joint venture facilty in Pueblo, Mexico.
