Willing to take on work but unwilling to follow up or make contact with customers. Contacted Nielsen Home Improvement on 10/5/15 and they came out to our home. They gave us a bid and told us they could possibly perform the small home improvement project we had in the next week. After 2 weeks with no contact we got a hold of them and were told something came up and they were unable to do our project in their estimated time frame. After a month we still had no update from Nielsen's so we contact them again. At that time they told us the part they needed was getting ordered. It is now 12/12/15 and we have contacted Nielsen's multiple times in the past 2 weeks. They will not answer our calls and they will not call us back. We have been polite and asked if they are unable to perform this job they said they could do 2 months ago then please let us know so we can find someone else to do the job. This is a very frustrating situation for us because we told them from the get go we wanted this job done before it snowed because the job involved siding on the house. We offered to pay up front so it is not a matter of them not getting paid. I would not recommend this group for small projects. Maybe if it is a big job it is worth their time.
