I say a big fat zero for stars, told me they won't work on my stuff cause I was late getting him paid, very poor customer service, found someone better anyways

We bought a fixer upper with base board heat and an old fashioned boiler in the basement. We replaced the boiler (a friend did the work) but the very next year the boiler started making weird thumping noises. Worried about our brand new EXPENSIVE investment we called Guinan. Even though it was a Sunday and late Mark and his employee came over quickly and figured out what the problem was. Even though they didn't install the boiler they were able to submit a claim under the warranty and get a free replacement part. Saved me a couple hundred dollars! We now have Mark come out and tune up the boiler before we turn on the heat every year and bleed the lines. I can not recommend him highly enough.

Wednesday, June 10th at 3:26pm I made a phone call to Guinan Heating and cooling to get my central air repaired. I was told a repairman would be there the following afternoon between 1-4pm. At 4:51pm the same woman called me back and apologized, saying that they would not be able to abide by the time frame previously established but assured me that someone would indeed be there sometime the next day to get it done. I told her I worked that morning but I would figure something out. At 4:45pm Thursday, the 11th, having not seen or heard anything since the previous day, I called the office again to verify that some one was indeed coming that day to fix my central air. She assured me that they "had my ticket" and would be there before the day ended. Nobody ever showed up - leaving me to not only sit in the heat for 12 hours, but lose my days wages for no reason at all other than their negligence. The only reason I gave 1 star is because 0 wasn't an option. I would highly recommend calling somebody else if you run into problems, because my experience with this particular company was nothing BUT negative.
