I was taking alterations to Missoula Textile for a while, and everything was fine, until one day they lost one of the pairs of pants I had dropped off for alterations. How they lost one pair and not the other, I don't know. The girl at the counter said she would look for them on Monday and call me back. She never did. I called them and they said they would pay me something for the pants or "ask the girls in the back to keep an eye out for them," which I took to mean that they had given up looking. Since the pants are no longer available at the store I bought them from, and I would much rather have them back than have the money and then have to go try to find a replacement, I am a little upset.
