Royal Excursion did not deliver

Being that I am a manager for an upscale hotel, I know customer service quite well. Our bus broke down, which can happen; however, it should not take the company over 4 hours to get a replacement bus to our location. We had 50 people stranded for 4 hours with no answers. No one ever explained what happened or why there was a lack of urgency to get us all home in a timely fashion. Not to mention everytime we questioned how much longer it would be, the same response was issued "25 minutes". Good money is paid to NOT concern yourself during a "leisure" trip and unfortunately Royal Excursion did not deliver. I will not be recommending Royal Excursion to my customers nor to anyone for that matter. Customer service is of paramount importance especially when you are in the travel industry. I do hope this review will serve it's purpose and save you from a bad experience. Find another company!

I will preface this review with this: Our trip was awesome except for the service. Had the bus worked correctly this would have been the best trip ever. I also have to add that the bus driver did the best he could with what he had to work with. The bus did not start and was not able to complete the trip home. 46 people sat very patiently for almost 2 hours while the bus driver worked on the issue. After customers of Royal Excursion waited, helped, and got scolded by Wrigley management and police (for the bus, not for drinking) our thanks from the company was to get told for the 10th time it would be 20 minutes. Finally a call was placed to the owner, which in my opinion is where the problem really started. The result of this call was me getting hung up on with calls made after not even answered. 4 hours later another bus came to get us. In my opinion, this company has zero respect for its customers and from what I could tell, its drivers. No compensation has been offered.
