Our Adult Family Care Home is located in a gated residential community with a nice fenced backyard. Having usually two residents with a nurse present you can be assured that your loved one will receive loving care that is personalized to their individual needs. I am accepting individuals who are in need of supervision or assistance with their ADL’s (activities of daily living), or whose family would prefer not to have them living alone. It is a positive alternative to an Assisted Living Facility (ALF) as an Adult Family Care Home (AFCH) is a home setting in which residents are treated as a member of the family. AFCH’s offer one on one attention, a home atmosphere, and are more cost-effective than an ALF or most aides. We are licensed through Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) which mandates strict guidelines we must adhere to. We are inspected by the local fire and health department along with the counties AHCA field agent and the Ombudsman’s Program.
