The Utilities Administration division is a part of the Utilities Department, which is operated by the government of the city of Miramar in Florida. The division handles the day-to-day planning directional oversight of the department s staff members. It maintains mechanical equipment for the city s wastewater reclamation facility and east and west water treatment plants. The division also maintains small engine equipment for public works and community services departments. The Utilities Administration division is responsible for taking meter readings. In addition, the division maintains water transmission lines that transport drinking water to homes and building establishments. The Utilities Administration division administers a customer service and community assistance program.
