To bad that I have to give a star to post this! My mother (72) started bringing her car there this summer (her regular guy is blocked by the work on M’haha). Problem # 1 - Second to the last time the car was there an alignment was required after certain work was done (the cost of that was included in the price she paid, $500 and some odd $), she picked the car up got, got two blocks and fluid was seeping out, making noise, etc....Sandberg's came the next day and towed the car, found the problem, fixed it, and charged her another couple hundred!!!! A part cracked I assume due to an alignment not being done, one that was already paid for, mom was told, "I don't know why they didn't do your alignment in the first place" "we gave you one now at no charge". Well I hope you didn't charge her, it was included in the work that was paid for it prior. Problem #2 - Beginning of summer we brought the lawnmower in for a tune up...$20, GREAT PRICE....so now I just got back from picking up the lawnmower and snow blower $116!!!! Since when does on oil change and a spark plug cost more on a snow blower than on a car???? Problem #3 When I walk in (picking them up for my 72 year old mother) the women says hi how are you, I said good, she hands me the work tag and in comes the mechanic...he gets in my face saying "you trying to nickel and dime me over some spark plugs"? I said "what", he repeated himself and then the women says "I told him about our conversation", I said "what conversation"? she said “well...the one I had with your mom”, I said "I don't know anything about it". But since it was brought up, I looked to see why it was so much....the mechanic said "I cleaned the fuel tank on the mower", ok that's fine I understand a little extra cost there, but why is the tune up so much on the snow blower then because that didn't need anything special done to it, I thought a tune up cost $20, he said "what made you think that", I said that that is what we were charged for a tune up before: He said "well things change" Really????? The woman says well each took a half hour and we charge $100.00 an hour! I want to know when it became ok for a mechanic to get in a customers face in the first place? If mom would have been there he have gotten in her face? He would not have done it if it were a man!!! I'm disgusted!!!!! We will NEVER go back!!!!!
