Riverstone used to be my go to spa, they have a very nice ambiance and seemed to have friendly staff. I am sad to say though that after a recent poor experience that stretched all the way up to management I will not be returning.

The errors began right from the start, I called a week or two prior after looking at pricing and services on their website, I was very specific in the services that I wanted because I knew I didn't have much time for relaxation.

I received a leg wax, bikini wax and a pedicure, apparently their office staff had made a mistake and booked me for the waxing before the pedicure so I was unable to get any type of exfoliating, however the staff never attempted to apologize for this in any way. When it came time to pay the bill was higher than I expected, I brought this up with the person at the desk who stated that I had booked a higher level pedicure than I had requested. I explained to her that I thought I was getting the lower level as that is what was requested but again there were no apologies. I simply paid and left at this point.

On my way home as I thought more about the situation and became increasingly annoyed I called and spoke with management. I went back and forth all the way up to the owner who would only offer a $20 gift card despite that I had never booked the pedicure I was charged for nor did I even receive the full pedicure due to their office staff booking it incorrectly.

I will not be returning to Riverstone and I encourage anyone considering going here to support other companies with better business practices.
