On Time hires an army of Independent Contractors who are completely responsible for all expenses incurred. They never inform you ahead of time what you are getting paid, even though they know what this at the time of the order. They will lure you in and deceive you on what you can expect to earn and then never deliver on it. They have insane contracted rates with customers, and why not? They get paid 40% with zero cost. If there are good paying jobs with this company, they are all going to the drivers that have been with them a long time. If you are new you probably will lose money on most jobs. This company also likes to play games – The phone you are given is a tracking device so they can see where you are at all times, they don’t inform the Independent Contractors of this. You get to pay 150 a month for the privilege of using this phone. These rates are what companies were charging 2-3 years ago…The dispatchers act like they are god and far superior to you. You will make the same amount of commission on a job regardless. If dispatch wants you to go back on a pickup, because they screwed up on the number of items to be picked up or need for you to get a delivery made sooner than what your schedule calls for, this is all at your own expense to put on the additional miles and time to accommodate for their needs, never offering any additional compensation. When driving through blizzard conditions, don’t expect any additional compensation from them. You will work longer hours and pick up less jobs and make less money. This is a good business plan for them as they will make the same amount of money for each job and rely on the driver to cover all cost. If you want to make a living at this, they suggest you work a 12 hour day.. You can go to Burger King and make more, as you will not have to pay for your own gas, additional insurance, repairs, or put 200+ miles a day on your own vehicle. I hope to convince at least one person not to get lured Karma, I hope this company gets what they deserve
