If you are considering this service look elsewhere. I am shocked at the dishonesty of this tax service. This year I went to have my taxes prepared in April, however we decided to hold off on filing as my husband was in the process of immigrating to the U.S. we wanted to wait until he got his Social a Security number so we could file jointly. So I filed for an extension and had the preparer Marcos Sanchez hold the return until my husband's number was issued, which he said was no problem. In mid September we contacted Mr. Sanchez to provide him with my husband's SSN and let him know we were ready to file. He said that he would e-file out return that day. Imagine my surprise to find out 3 weeks later that he had never done so!!! I had requested a copy of our return transcript from the IRS website and was told there was nothing on file for 2012! We contacted Mr. Sanchez quite confused and he admitted he had never sent out returns! His excuse was he couldn't because while apparently he is able to prepare our taxes he is not able to actual e-file returns, only Hermes Davila, the owner can do that and Mr. Davila was out of the country and wouldn't be returning until possibly the next month!!!!! Mr. Sanchez out right lied to our faces saying he was filing our return and then never did. He also had the audacity to say it was not his fault! It was because Mr. Davila was out of the country. Something I would have understood had Mr. Sanchez contacted us right away to tell us of the situation so we could make other arrangements. However he did not. Had I not tried to order a copy of our 2012 transcript we would have never known!! Mr. Sanchez said "he was going to e-file them as planned whenever Mr. Davila returned." And in the mean time we would have missed the October 15 deadline and been slapped with late fees and fines. Never again!
