Me and my husband worked very hard to save $2500 to put down on a new home. In November we went to Matt’s Homes and found a mobile home that we liked and we were pressured to put down some money to keep it until Spring. A month later we found out that Matt had little experience in putting mobile homes on a piece of land and that the home we put money down on was overpriced and the paperwork was done incorrectly. We called and asked for our money back he said no dealer would ever refund the money. During this time he kept showing the home to prospective buyers since the new model was identical except for the paint color. The For Sale signs are still in the windows, we have pictures to prove it. When we put the money down Matt said that the ground was frozen and that he would not be able to do anything with the house until Spring.
Since Matt would not respond to letters, messages or emails. We got a lawyer and sent 2 letters to demand our money back with no response. We went there hoping to talk but he was very rude and insulting and said that we were going to court and he was looking forward to it.
Matt was very rude and talked down to us, he bad mouthed another company and lied about pricing to make a sale. I have been here twice during their open hours and no one is there. We wish we never met him and we hope to save others from the heartache and misery he’s putting us through. This is not a company I want anyone else to have to deal with.
