Independent Precious Metals should stop tooting their own horn on their website because I did not experience a knowledgeable staff. The rates are not superior and service far from impeccable.

I would highly recommend this one guy operation. Easy going and knowledgable in precious metals. No games, trick or fast talking but honest and straight shooter. Whatever the price you see posted is what he is going to give you! We have sold gold and silver to him many times and his service and pricing is consistent and more than fair every time.

Save your time and gas, I have hit almost every silver and gold shop in the cities and this is the best. Any other place has prices that bounce around, not this guy. One person operation, very friendly and his prices are always on top of anyone in the seven county area. Just remember to go to Manor street and then north on Laddie to the parking lot. You can't get to it off of County 10. Pawn shops and the Mall of America shop are not even close for price, you get his best price with no haggling. You can get a price from him and go elsewhere but you will come back. Second floor of the office building next to the car dealership.

I have worked with Doug a number of times and found it to be a very easy process. I find him to be fair in his dealings and I was refered to his office by a jewelry store I was at. He has a solid reputation.

This was the best experience I have had selling my broken/unwanted jewelry! Doug is extremely nice...called his wife to postpone dinner just to take care of us. Also was very very fair. In most cases (I had probably 20 different items) he gave me more than I paid for them. Obviously prices have went up. But he weighs everything in front of you and doesn't hide anything. Very Honest and the prices of 14k, 10k, and silver were great!

I wrote a review for this place on another site in Superpages. Save your time and mon3ey and go here. Best prices and I scoured everyone. It's east of hwy 65, Central Ave. and south of county 10, not State 10. Hard to get to parking lot. Off Able, go east on Manor then north on Laddie. Every pawn shop and buyer will not beat this guys price.

This business owner is fair and honest. We called. He quoted us a rate. When we went in, the rate was even higher for our gold jewelry that we weren't every going to wear again. Check was paid to us on the spot. Glad we found him.

Have used IPM twice. Very busy so you may have to wait, but Doug gives one of the highest prices in the Twin Cities. About the same as Enviro-Chem in Rogers but MUCH MORE than pawn shops and Gold Guys (who lied to me by the way about ENviro-Chem). But that's another story!
