Provided by YP.comI recently took my vehicle there for a minor repair. Four Star Auto was fast, friendly, and it was much less than I expected, they have a low hourly labor rate. I have since recommended them to several of my friends who have been taking their vehicles elsewhere and getting charged much more for subpar work.
It is also convenient for me that they are located right on the light rail route so I have a mode of transportation when I drop my vehicle there.

Provided by YP.comI highly recommend Four Star Auto Service. They are honest, reliable, and affordable. If you have a car problem, give them a call. You will not regret it!

Last spring, I took my '97 Saturn to Four Star because the engine took an inordinately long time to return to idle, when the accelerator was released. When the clutch was pressed, during normal shifting, the engine would actually race briefly instead of slowing down, as is normal.Four Star diagnosed the problem as a leaky intake manifold gasket and quoted $500 to replace it. I asked Millie how sure she was that that would fix the problem, since I didn't want to spend that kind of money on a repair that didn't work (especially on an old car). She said "I'm 100% confident." The repair made absolutely no difference. I reminded Millie that she'd essentially guaranteed the fix, at which point she said that the repair was actually to fix a different problem and that the racing was "normal behavior."I believe that this was an honest miss diagnosis, not an intentional rip-off, but I do not understand her lying about it rather than admitting the error.
